People Promoting Mental Health meets at the CK Community Hub ( located at 160 St Vincent Street, Port Adelaide) every Friday 11:30 am – 3 pm.
Who are PPMH?
People Promoting Mental Health (PPMH) meet at CK Community Hub most Fridays from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm, excluding public holidays. The group plans various projects; prepares and shares a healthy lunch together. Donation $2.00
CK Community Hub is located at 160 St Vincent Street, Port Adelaide.
Food with Friends
Food with Friends happens at CK Community Hub once a fortnight on Thursdays.
It is a low cost healthy meal and social time.
People are welcome to come and learn food preparation, shopping and volunteer skills from 3 p.m on wards. Evening meal starts at 5.30 p.m.
There are opportunities for people to be volunteers and support each other at this community meal. Cost of meal: people are invited to donate $2.50 to help with food costs.

Walking for life
Aims to provide safe, fun and sociable walking sessions. We meet at CK Community Hub on Mondays and Fridays at 9.15 am to walk for an hour, (not on public holidays and some variation in timetable during school holidays). Volunteers trained and encouraged to support fellow walkers to walk and socialise safely. Walking will be cancelled if the forecast temperature is 36 degrees or over.
Supported by the Heart Foundation Walking.
The CK Community Hub acknowledges ongoing support and links with:

We welcome and value greatly the support of volunteers support, choices and training to make volunteer involvement safe, enjoyable and worthwhile chance to be in a friendly team in a safe and supportive environment opportunity to welcome people, make friends, shop, cook, clean and learn about food hygiene and safety, and to do many other things to help make a friendly community.
